Someone recently accessed the guestbook at "Tookie's Corner" to collect the email addresses of others who had left notes in the guestbook. This person then sent racist, vicious email messages to some of the people whose email addresses this person captured.

We apologize for this unwanted intrusion.

This cannot occur again.

Visitors to "Tookie's Corner" are encouraged to enter their thoughts about Tookie's work into the guestbook. But now, no one can read other people's messages -- or capture other people's email addresses. It is unfortunate that this change is necessary, because we receive thousands of supportive messages about Tookie's work on behalf of children. But we can no longer share them with the public. It is important that we protect the privacy of people who respond to Tookie's work.
